8/16/2024, Hutchinson, Kansas – Bold LLC announced three scholarship recipients last week. 

Allison Bateman – summer intern.  Allison is entering her sophomore year at John Brown University.  and is pursuing a degree in History Education.

Bradley Neill – light assembly.  After completing a year at Hutchinson Community College, Bradley is enrolled at Pitt State University pursuing a degree in sport management.  He fell just short of medaling in the cornhole event during Bold 2024 Olympics.

Camden Schneider – light assembly. Camden is enrolled in the Aviation Pilot program at Liberty University Online.  Camden is an Eagle Scout.

Bold scholarships were awarded to employees over the summer that demonstrated Bold’s company values and are furthering their education.   “All three were well deserving of the Bold scholarship and we know they will go on to be great leaders,” said Darren Barnes, Bold CEO.

“We were only going to give one scholarship,” said Bart Kooiman, Bold COO, “but after seeing their work ethic this summer, reading their applications, and talking to their managers, we just couldn’t stop at one. Bold’s core purpose is to help people succeed and I’ll bet on Allison, Bradley, and Camden.”  

 “Interestingly, all three of them serve in their local church.  Camden serves in the CrossPoint Church worship band as a drummer, Bradley serves in Sunday school at Inspire Church and Allison serves in Sunday school at Crosspoint Church. It’s encouraging to see young adults serve our Lord and others in a culture that says: ‘it’s all about me’,” said Kooiman.

“Working during the summer gives practical experience and develops discipline.  We’re pleased to play a role in providing these opportunities.” concluded Christina Byard, Bold HR Director.
